On April 28, the National Energy Administration issued a notice on several measures to promote the development of the private economy in the energy sector.
The document stated that support and guidance should be provided to encourage private enterprises to "go global" with high quality. Private enterprises are encouraged to participate in high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, prudently engage in cooperation on green energy projects such as wind power, PV, hydrogen energy, and ESS, and enhance their international competitiveness. Leveraging domestic and overseas think tank resources, relevant national energy policies should be promoted to energy enterprises through various means, providing assistance to private enterprises in expanding overseas markets.
